Many people have taken part in co-ordinated protests in Prague in opposition to a controversial anti-piracy agreement ACTA.

Around 80 demonstrators gathered on Wenceslas Square in the centre of Prague.

Protesters argued that ACTA will attack freedom. The protesters also disagreed with the International Trade Committee that rejected a proposal to recommend that Parliament should refer ACTA to EU Court of Justice.

The protest was organised by Skutečná demokracie Teď (inspired by the Spanish Indignatos protests) and was supported by the Czech Pirate Party and the Anonymous movement.
